Celebrate the changing season with us at Alice Ferguson Foundation's
32nd Annual Oktoberfest on October 6th from 1:00pm to 6:00pm.

Oktoberfest is one of the two times each year that AFF's beautiful Hard Bargain Farm is open to the public. We are counting down the days until we get to share the wonder of this magical place with you!
Oktoberfest highlights include:
- Eating delicious German
food a la carte: bratwurst, potato salad, sauerkraut, and homemade
apple strudel. Read an interview with Oktoberfest's very own "Strudel Queen" here.
- Watching high-spirited, authentic
performances of dances from Bavaria and Austria with the chance to join
Schuhplattler "Alt-Washingtonia" on stage for audience-participation
waltzes.
- Shopping for bargains and
homemade delicacies at our country store in the gazebo.
- Haywagon rides to the Potomac
River.
- Visits with the animals in the
barnyard.
- Making apple cider with an old
fashioned cider press.
- Bidding on local art, crafts and
food items at Silent and Live Auctions.
- Stopping at our membership table
and learn about other Hard Bargain Adventures and the latest membership
deals.
