Free Instrumental Music Lessons - University of Maryland

Hello Homeschool Families!
I am writing to inform you that the Music Education Department at the University of Maryland will again be offering instrumental music lessons for homeschooled students this spring.  Classes will be held each Thursday between March 7th and May 2nd from 2:00-3:15 pm. Beginning and intermediate students aged 8 - 16 who are interested in playing Violin, Viola, Cello, Trumpet, Trombone, Flute, Clarinet, or Saxophone are welcome to join.  Classes are offered free of charge as a way for our music education students to gain valuable teaching experience.  If you are interested in enrolling your child or have any questions, please contact Susan Goodwin at 301-314-2490 or by email at smgood86@umd.edu. To enroll your child, please provide the student’s name, age, instrument preference, and parental contact information and we will contact you with further details.  We look forward to hearing from you!
Sincerely,
Jen Doyle, Visiting Assistant Professor of Music Education
