Enrichment Building Day
Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013
10 a.m.–12 p.m.
Throughout the year, the Animal Enrichment and Training Committee thinks of new and inventive ways of using everyday materials to enhance the animals' environments. The Animal Care staff can then use these items to create new hiding places for animals and add new activities that encourage natural behaviors and play. Participants will have the opportunity to meet Animal Care staff and participate in building enrichment items for animals in the Aquarium, as well as their pets at home. While they build, they will learn the importance of enrichment in animals' lives.
