Accokeek Center for Homeschool : Latin and Spanish Tutors

The Accokeek Center for Homeschool Support will have weekly language
tutorials in Latin and Spanish beginning September 5.

Latin I classes are for students in 5th grade (about age 10) and older.
Students work on their assignments at home and come to class for quizzes,
pronunciation help, and grammar instruction. Latin II and III are for
students of any age who have already studied some Latin. Students begin
with "Getting Started With Latin" by William Linney and move on to "First
Form Latin" and "Second Form Latin" by Cheryl Lowe. For more information,

Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 are for students in 7th grade (about age 12) and up.
These classes are for credit, and they will include weekly homework,
sporadic quizzes, and monthly tests. Spanish 1 students will use the text
"Espanol para chicos y grandes," and Spanish 2 students will use the text
from Bob Jones University. The instructor is an honors graduate from the
University of Puerto Rico. For more information about the Spanish classes,
