Home-School Science Clubs
Watkins Nature Center offers Home-School Science Clubs for ages 5-14. These clubs meet once a month during September-December and February-May. On the scheduled class dates, participants explore various nature topics through hikes, hands-on activities, and presentations. Registration is available only through SMARTlink, and usually begins one month prior to the first date of class. September 19 - Trees & Introduction to Reserach Topics
October 17 - Fitness Challenge-"Wildlife Olympics"
November 14 - Black Bears & Other Mammals (includes dissection)
December 19 - Campfire Skills & Research Project Presentations
Fee: Resident $20; Non-Resident $24 (covers all 4 dates)
