The objective of First Year Latin is a thorough
mastery of forms, basic syntax and vocabulary as well as ability to read and
translate simple sentences.

The textbook provides generous exercise for private
study and for class work. Students will
learn all 5 Noun declensions, 1st, 2nd and 3rd
Adjectives and 2 Verb Conjugations in 6 tenses.
Cost: $120 per student/per semester

10:30 – 11:30 Music Appreciation

Study the lives and music of famous composers from the
Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Impressionistic eras.
·
Learn the names and tunes of famous pieces by these
God gifted composers.
·
Read how God used difficult circumstances in their
lives to create some of the most beautiful music of our time.
Every song is recorded on the
computer for students to view in some form. This
allows them to enjoy
the music and learn to appreciate the great musical composers.
