The Park and Planning
has added another public beginner's for children in the Southern Maryland on Saturday,
September 22, 2012. Park and Planning is offering another public beginner's
fishing class for children in the Southern Maryland area. The Park Rangers are
the instructors for the class. The classes are fun and informative and good for
science enrichment. The rods and worms are provided for the children. Below are
the details on the class. Class size is small and spaces are limited to 8

Saturday, September 22, 2012, 9:00a.m.—11:00 am. Park Rangers Fishing
For Beginners. Learn about casting, handling fish, fishing
safety and fish biology. This program is for youth ages 6- 12 with little or no
experience. Only 7 spaces are available. At the pond at Tucker Road
Community Park/Athletic Complex, 1770 Tucker Road, Fort
Washington, MD 20744. Cost $5.00 Residents and $6.00 Nonresidents.
