Become a Junior SERC Scientist this summer

Become a Junior SERC Scientist this summer (ages 10-12)
August 5th-9th (9 am-4 pm), $375
Extended day will be available from 8am-5:30pm

Join SERC this summer for two fun filled weeks of science and hands-on learning, all while having fun outdoors.

Come to SERC to learn how scientists design experiments to answer questions.   Each day you will be presented with different challenges.  You and your fellow junior scientists will work as a team to meet the challenge. As an example of some of your explorations  you will have hands-on time learning about fish in the Rhode River, feeding preferences of blue crabs , what makes a canoe propel down Muddy Creek, and the aerodynamic of water balls to mention just a few of your challenges.

Classes are limited to 12 students (minimum 6 required for the course). Cost is $375 for the entire week, from 9 am-4 pm., with before and after care available. For questions or to register contact: Jane Holly (hollyj@si.edu)
