Join us for a series of animated shorts celebrating nature's unfolding beauty. SPECIAL EVENT   Winter Film Series  The Rooster Trademark Paper  Saturday, March 22 at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, March 23 at 11:30 a.m.  East Building Concourse, Auditorium  When Amir, a young boy who dreams of becoming an artist, sees an advertisement for a visual arts competition he is inspired to enter. Although he works hard selling newspapers and making deliveries for a local store, he struggles to purchase the costly Rooster Trademark paper that all entrants must use to qualify for the contest. Amir's passion and drive is bolstered by his community, as he strives to make his dream a reality. In Farsi with English subtitles. (Maryam Milani, Iran, 2012, 93 minutes) Shown in collaboration with the Environmental Film Festival in the Nation's Capital. All film programs are shown in the East Building Auditorium. Groups are welcome. Food and drink are not permitted. Welcome to the LIVE Online American Girl Club for Homeschoolers!

Do you have girls who are in love with the American Girl dolls and stories? Well this club is for you and your family! You'll have access to a safe, online environment for your kids to make new friends, learn about history and do arts and crafts. Did I mention this club is 100% free! 

Club Specifics: 

• Meetings will take place at least twice per month. All meetings per month will be identical so there is no need to attend more than one.  Simply choose the meeting time that works best for your family.We usually offer two meetings a month, but this is such a popular club that we are adding more sessions!
• Meetings will last 60 minutes
• Lessons will be taught by our main moderators and teachers Loretta and Erin Rhodes. 
• Each month will have a theme, a lesson plan, arts and crafts, and snack idea.

We encourage the girls to read every book in each American Girl Series but we usually focus on 3 books from each girl covered in our club meetings.

Please join us as we open for the Spring season! On Saturday, March 22 and Sunday, March 23rd admission will be just $1 as we celebrate Maryland Day with the rest of the Four Rivers Heritage Area. At London Town, Saturday will allow visitors unrestricted access to the Historic Area and William Brown House. Our large living history event will be on Sunday, March 23rd 12:00 -- 4:30 pm.  Many thanks to Towne Transport for offering a free shuttle from downtown Annapolis to London Town on Sunday (full schedule is on the Maryland Day website)! Please come visit us and experience the colonial seaport of London Town brought to life! Sunday, March 23 Maryland Day Celebration! 12:00 pm -- 4:30 pm Planning you Day:   Living History in the William Brown House-the year is 1772. Come talk with travelers, Mrs. Susannah Brown, Mr. James Dick, Mr. Harwood and Reverend Love and many others. Be sure to stop in the basement and make sure  Mr. Brown's servants are behaving themselves. If you can find Mr. Brown please be sure to tell them, because no one has been able to find him all day! Colonial Games,Chores and ropemaking in the Historic Area by the Ropewalk. The Baltemore Rangers, His Majesty's Marines and the Maryland Marines will be drilling on the bluff above the river-watch out for musket fire! The Baltemore Rangers firing muskets Visitors drilling with His Majesty's Marines   Kids-Dress like an actual person of London Town!
