Homeschool Programs at
Historic London Town and Gardens
As the summer is winding
down it's time to look forward to the Fall season.
Every month we will be
offering a different Homeschool Program. All programs require
pre-paid registration to ensure we have enough supplies and materials
for the program and to make sure the groups don't get too big.
Please click on the "Register Now" link on the left
or in the program description to register online. Or, call the
front desk at 410.222.1919 ext 211 to complete registration.
Adult participants are free of charge with the exception of the
Colonial Holiday and Hearth Cooking Program due to the associated
food costs.
If you have any questions
or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to
seeing you all at London Town this spring! Please forward information
about our programs to your friends and co-ops!
Take care,
Lisa

Children's Lives at Colonial London Town
New Cook Book Addition!!
A federal Teaching American History grant
funded a partnership between Historic London Town and Gardens, Anne
Arundel County Public Schools and University of Maryland, Baltimore
County. Over the past 5 years, Lisa Robbins has worked closely with a
cohort of elementary teachers from Anne Arundel County as well as
staff at the other partner organizations. The teachers researched and
then wrote a children's story book about 3 London Town families.
Their work was then turned into a unique interactive website and most recently into a moblie app that is
free in the Apple store (just search London Town)!
