Computer animation classes for homeschooled students ages
10-18 return this fall in Greenbelt at GATE Studios at the Greenbelt Community
Center. A collaborative program between GATE (Greenbelt Access
Television) and GAVA (Greenbelt Assn. for the Visual Arts), these classes have
been going for over 15 years with George Kochell as the instructor.
Students learn all aspects of computer animation, and create their own original
animated shorts. Classes are held on Mondays, from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, and
begin Sept. 15 and run thru Dec. 8 (12 weeks, skipping Oct. 13). The fee
is $170.00. For more information, contact Barbara Simon, Program
Director, at simongava@yahoo.com
