London Town will be open if you want to get out of the house but don't want to fight the beach traffic. Enjoy the woodland gardens, the historic area and the exhibit in the Visitor's Center.

Watch re-enactors cook colonial style foods over an open fire in the Lord Mayor's Tenement.  There's always something interesting being cooked up.

"Life at Sea"

See what life was like on ships and in a colonial seaport.

Make rope, learn about navigational techniques and play some seafaring games!

This will be the official Grand Opening of our new Carpenter Shop! 

 Get your hands dirty and learn about how some the buildings here in London Town were built.  Tools will be used, structures will be built, and fun will be had!

Explore Asian fusion cooking through the flavors of Southeast Asia and Vietnam as we make quick, easy, and healthy dishes bound to give you confidence in the kitchen and spark your creativity for more. Cheese and Wine Pairing
Friday September 12th 6:30pm-8:00pm

Class Title: Young Company Fellows
Time: Saturdays 9am-12pm
Start Date: 9/6
End Date: 10/25
Instructor: Annapolis Shakespeare Company
Ages: Designed for dedicated teen actors age 14-18
Description: Young Company offers yearlong classes, divided into 3 sessions, in
classical performance techniques, focusing on the understanding of Shakespeare’s
plays and language. In particular, we will be studying how an actor can use the text
to fully access Shakespeare's genius. Teens will be immersed in Shakespeare’s
characters, plots, and poetry. Through text work and acting exercises, students will
expand their performance skills, verbal dexterity, audience connection and physical
presence.  Students must interview to be accepted and are expected to memorize
text and perform in a public showcase.
Cost: $390

Class Title: Parent and Child: Creative  Play Fellows
Time: Monday and Wednesday 9am-10am
Start Date: 9/8
End Date: 10/27
Instructor: Annapolis Shakespeare Company
Ages: Designed for Parents and Children ages 5-8
Description: Young students bring a story to life by creating characters, animals, and
magical creatures. Parents can learn ways to engage their children in active and
imaginative new games. Children and parents will love learning how to stage their
favorite books, poems and plays together!

Class Title: Theatre Course in Classical Performance
Time: Monday and Wednesday, 10:30am-12pm
Start Date: 9/3
End Date: 10/27
Instructor: Annapolis Shakespeare Company
Ages: 12-18
Description: Students are given basic acting techniques that apply to classical (and
contemporary!) works. Through examining various texts and discussing differences
in style, actors will have the chance to experiment in period acting. The class will
focus on 3 different plays and students will learn differences in genres. This class
will help grow a  student’s existing performance knowledge and expand their personal repertoire of plays.
Cost: $380

Class Title: Speak the Speech
Time: Thursdays 9am-11am
Start Date: 9/4
End Date: 10/23
Instructor: Annapolis Shakespeare Company
Ages: 12-18
Description: Both a writing and presentation course, students learn how to write a
cohesive speech that expresses their viewpoint in a logical  and interesting manner.
Using body language, students will learn about reinforcing elements of the speech.
Students also learn basic techniques for vocal production – projection, diction, and
timing. Students will build self-confidence by learning to communicate  more
effectively.
Cost: $320

Class Title: Page to Stage
Time: Thursdays 5pm – 6pm

Ages: 9-15
Description: Allows students the chance to bring a story to life by creating a short
play based on a fairytale or classical text. Fun games and writing exercises help
students think creatively about how to structure a story and the characters within it.

Class Title: Scenes and Monologues I
Time: Tuesdays 9am-11am

Ages: 9-15
Description: Student artists are offered a safe and creative space to rehearse their
materials (audition monologues, scenes) and gain feedback  from peers. This is a
great opportunity to receive instruction and  advice from professional artists.

Class Title: Foundations of Dance for the Actor

Description: The class is based on finding free and easy movement that incorporates
ballet and jazz as well as other performance techniques. A great beginner class for  actors who want to learn dance styles for the theatre, as well as how to move on stage.
Students need form-fitting dancewear and jazz orcharactershoes (1-2inch heel
max).

Class Title: Family Improv Workshop
Time: Sundays 4pm-5:30pm
Start Date: 9/14
End Date: 9/28
Ages: Designed for Families of all ages
Instructor: Annapolis Shakespeare Company
Description: A series of workshops that focuses on sound, motion and connection
through improvisational  exercises. Group improv is taught through various
exercises in this fun group workshop. Youth and adults learn to think on their feet
and creatively solve problems while working with an ensemble. It gives families
common ground to bond through very active, fun improv games.
Cost: $135 per person
